a little bit of serendipitea...

Happy New Year, Long Island! Please be safe with the impending snowstorm! As Jay Cardinal
fights what may be a losing battle with our snow-blower, I thought it a most appropriate time to recount some warming thoughts...

Infuse Tea Bar, located in West Sayville, is a tea lover's paradise. With over 200 loose teas on hand that can be bought loose or made on the premises, there's no shortage of options here. Jay Cardinal ordered a Thai Iced Thai (which refreshingly was made from scratch) while I had a hot cup of Kenilworth Ceylon, an excellent medium-bodied black tea. We purchased 2 ounces of Glenburn Estate   Darjeeling (second flush) for enjoyment as home--- I find it subtly floral, velvety and not astringent at all. The tea shop's staff was lovely and generous with their time. This place is a must for tea drinkers, both serious and neophyte.
